Job summary

Circle Logistics is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth in a fully remote role across the United States. You will own strategic initiatives, build shipper and carrier relationships, and drive revenue with innovative sales strategies in the freight brokerage space.

You will lead a pipeline, collaborate with operations and compliance teams, and mentor junior staff while negotiating favorable terms and expanding market share in logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BD/sales experience in a B2B environment.
• Proven ability to build and close new business.
• Strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new shipper and carrier opportunities with a robust pipeline.
• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with shippers, carriers, and partners.
• Develop and execute freight brokerage strategies aligned to market opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, capacity, and pricing to inform recommendations.
• Grow existing shipper accounts and expand lanes, cross-sell opportunities.
• Prepare presentations, rate quotes, and freight solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and compliance teams for seamless service.
• Monitor KPIs and report on revenue growth and win rates.
• Mentor junior team members on brokerage best practices.
