Job summary

Truist is seeking an Operations Risk Management Programs Risk Officer II-Fraud to lead the design, development, and execution of core fraud risk programs. This senior expert will research, evaluate, and implement proactive risk management processes alongside fraud strategy and operations teams.

Responsibilities include overseeing fraud risk activities, developing assessments, and maintaining indicators while ensuring regulatory alignment and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Ten years banking or related management experience.
• Five years of management with direct supervisory responsibility.
• Strong operational and fraud risk management knowledge and leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish and execute fraud risk management program and oversight framework.
• Provide ongoing oversight of the company's fraud risk management activities.
• Develop and maintain fraud risk assessments; identify gaps and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure Key Risk Indicators are developed, tracked, and reported to executives.
• Serve as an operational fraud risk expert for risk managers on complex assignments.
• Collaborate with Fraud Strategy, Fraud Operations, and first line of defense teams.
• Report to executive management on effectiveness of fraud capabilities.
