Job summary

Truist is seeking an Operations Risk Management Programs Risk Officer II-Fraud to lead the design, development, and execution of its core fraud risk programs. This senior expert will research, evaluate, and implement forward-leaning risk management solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten years of banking or related management experience.
• Five years of management experience with direct supervisory responsibility.
• Strong Operational and Fraud Risk Management knowledge, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish and execute fraud risk management program and oversight framework.
• Provide ongoing oversight of the company's fraud risk management activities.
• Develop and maintain fraud risk assessments with periodic updates.
• Ensure Key Risk Indicators are developed and maintained; identify gaps and track remediation.
• Serve as an operational fraud risk expert for risk managers on complex assignments.
• Collaborate with Fraud Strategy, Fraud Operations and first line of defense teams to address emerging threats.
• Report to executive management on effectiveness of fraud capabilities.
• Track and monitor fraud issue remediations using GRC tools and report status.
