Job summary

Gemini is seeking a Senior Associate in Fraud Operations to investigate financial fraud across product lines, review complex datasets, and respond to customers to gather information for informed decisions.

You will identify fraud trends, suggest rule and policy updates, understand customer journeys, and prepare reports for weekly leadership meetings. The role may require on-call hours; Gemini offers hybrid work from US hub offices and remote options.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of direct fraud investigative experience, including ACH and credit card fraud
• 2-5+ years of direct scam and account integrity investigative experience
• Knowledge of device telemetry data, account integrity systems, and internet technologies (VPNs)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with decisions in high ambiguity environments
• Empathy balanced with skepticism and ability to acknowledge incorrect decisions

Responsibilities

• Investigate financial fraud and scams across multiple product lines
• Review complex data sets (ACH/debit/credit card/wallet, device telemetry, blockchain)
• Respond to customers to obtain information for informed decisions
• Identify fraud trends and suggest rule, feature, and policy updates
• Understand customer journeys to improve fraud controls
• Leverage knowledge to improve operational flows
• Prepare fraud reports and present to leadership weekly meetings
