Job summary

Gemini is seeking a Senior Fraud Operations Associate to enhance fraud detection and mitigation across Exchange, Cards, Equities, Wallet, and more. You will investigate first, second, and third party fraud, shaping models and rules while collaborating with product, engineering, and data science to balance security with customer experience.

You will work on on-call or extended hours during fraud events and participate in weekly leadership reviews to drive improvements in fraud control processes

Qualifications

• BA/BS in finance, economics, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years direct fraud investigative experience including ACH and card fraud.
• 2–5+ years direct scam and account integrity investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate financial fraud and scams across multiple product lines.
• Review complex data sets such as ACH/debit/credit/wallet transactions, device telemetry, blockchain data.
• Respond to customers to gather information for informed decisions.
• Identify trends and update rules, features, and policies.
• Understand customer journeys to reduce friction from fraud controls.
• Suggest improvements to operational flows based on experience.
• Prepare fraud reports and present findings to leadership weekly.
• May require on-call or extended hours during fraud events.
