Job summary

Raytheon’s Effector Digital Products department seeks a senior FPGA architect to lead system-level architecture for radar and imaging products. You will translate requirements into FPGA hardware designs, craft verification plans, and guide cross‑functional teams to on‑time, within‑budget releases.

The role emphasizes VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog/UVM, and emulation platforms, with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and extensive FPGA/ASIC experience.
• Proven capability to translate system requirements into FPGA hardware.
• Experience with radar and image processing techniques is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of FPGA verification (SystemVerilog/UVM) and test strategies.
• Leadership of technical teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA-based systems architecture and design, including CONOPS.
• Deliver quality releases from concept to production.
• Drive projects on schedule and within budget.
• Coach and delegate work to junior engineers.
• Create comprehensive documentation and verification plans.
• Support customer interactions and reviews.
