Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer with strong DSP FPGA design skills in the Radar Digital Products department. You will develop digital signal processing algorithms and implement FPGA-based interfaces, controls, and data processing concepts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Experience implementing DSP functions in FPGAs using VHDL/Verilog.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (100 GbE, PCIe, DDR).
• Knowledge of FPGA design verification and timing closure.

Responsibilities

• Define technical approach to meet system-level FPGA requirements.
• Design and deliver production-quality FPGA releases from concept to production.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams for success.
• Translate system needs into FPGA requirements and CONOPS.
• Create documentation, verification plans, and reviews.
