Job summary

CesiumAstro, a pioneer in satellite communications hardware, seeks a Senior FPGA Engineer in the United States, Texas, Austin. You will own FPGA circuits from design through deployment and verify using HDL tools.

You will engage in customer reviews, write proposals, and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace hardware projects. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in FPGA HDL design, strong Verilog/VHDL skills, and hands-on lab instrumentation experience.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 6 years of FPGA design experience at HDL level.
• Expertise in Verilog/VHDL; experience with Vivado and ModelSim.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA circuit and system design through all development phases.
• Perform FPGA verification, testing, and deployment at the HDL level; handle DSP aspects as needed.
• Present design reviews to customers and executives; contribute to proposal writing.
