Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and build electronics for Apollo's sensor bridge. You will own defined subsystems, perform schematic capture, RTL blocks, and guide FPGA implementation in collaboration with senior staff.

Responsibilities include validating high-speed interfaces (CSI-2, 10GbE), board power sequencing, EMC/thermal design, and bringing up the hardware with lab test equipment. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Electrical Engineering with FPGA/board design experience.
• Strong RTL and high-speed interface expertise; able to supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Own subsystems of a multi-Gbps PCBA including schematic capture and RTL blocks.
• Design and validate high-speed interfaces, power sequencing, and EMC/thermal constraints.
• Develop RTL in VHDL/Verilog and support timing closure and bring-up.
• Create validation plans, build test fixtures, and perform debugging across hardware/RTL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
