Job summary

Apptronik seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer to architect the electronics for Apollo’s sensor bridge. You will own the FPGA stack end-to-end, from requirements to production, and collaborate with perception teams to enable reliable sight and safety features.

Responsibilities include RTL design (VHDL/Verilog), timing closure, high-speed interfaces, and integration of transceivers. This role drives hardware leadership in a fast-paced robotics environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong FPGA hardware design experience for high-performance applications.
• Demonstrated RTL development in VHDL/Verilog with timing closure expertise.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces and device integration.
• Exposure to board design, DFM, and debugging across hardware/RTL.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, RTL, and validation for a sensor bridge on a fast board.
• Lead timing closure, clock-domain crossing, and signal integrity analyses.
• Select components and manage vendor relations for production.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to ship hardware.
