Somewhere is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our remote team. You will own financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting for a portfolio of venture-backed startups, partnering with fractional CFOs to free time for strategy and fundraising.

You will build and maintain three-statement models, track liquidity metrics, and produce board-ready updates while collaborating across multiple client engagements in Pacific-time overlap with San Francisco clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or operating finance ideally supporting high-growth or venture-backed companies
• Ability to build three-statement and operating models from scratch and deliver review-ready work with limited supervision
• Experience producing board and investor reporting, including variance and KPI analysis
• Excellent written and spoken English with client-facing polish

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain three-statement models, operating budgets, and rolling forecasts across multiple client companies
• Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and fundraising decisions
• Track runway, burn, and cash flow, and flag risks early
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and budget-vs-actual variance analysis
• Build board decks and investor updates translating numbers into a clear narrative
• Own accuracy and consistency of reporting across clients
• Work with fractional CFOs as embedded finance team members
• Support capital raises with data-room prep, metrics, and modeling
• Partner with founders and leadership to answer financial questions and stress-test assumptions
• Maintain data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
• Track SaaS and growth metrics (ARR, burn, CAC, net retention) for each client
• Leverage AI tools to streamline FP&A workflows
