Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a high-ownership Product Manager (L5) for FP&A and adjacent finance workflows. You will own planning, forecasting, reporting, and automation, shaping the finance product surface and platform experiences used daily by finance teams.

Work with Finance, Engineering, Business Systems, Data, and Functional Architecture to define the future-state FP&A operating model, invest in the product, and improve scalability and data quality across planning cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of complex internal platforms, enterprise software, or workflow-heavy products.
• Strong product judgment in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders and high execution expectations.
• Experience working on finance systems, planning platforms, enterprise workflows, or adjacent domains where process rigor and data quality matter.
• Ability to understand user pain points across operational workflows and executive reporting use cases.
• Strong analytical orientation with metrics, data-driven roadmap decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to move ambiguous problem spaces toward clear strategy and execution.
• Demonstrates responsibility in using generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for FP&A product surfaces and workflows across planning, reporting, and automation.
• Partner with Finance and EAA leadership to define the future FP&A operating model and required investments.
• Drive improvements to budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and finance rhythms through better systems and workflows.
• Improve reporting and insight delivery by shaping dashboards, variance analysis experiences, and decision-support tooling.
• Lead platform-level work to improve FP&A systems scalability, maintainability, and interoperability.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and workflow automation to reduce manual effort and shorten planning cycles.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, outcomes, and delivery plans.
• Operate as the product DRI across multiple teams, aligning priorities and timing.
• Define success metrics and use signals to continually improve outcomes for Finance users.
