Job summary

Trading Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A Business Partner in Chicago to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for Product, Engineering, and Service Management. This role reports to the VP Finance & Accounting and partners with multiple teams and PE stakeholders to drive value and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 7+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or business partnering roles with direct support of Product/Engineering.
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS/software environments strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building P&Ls and CM analyses with cost allocation.
• Strong understanding of R&D costs, software capitalization, cloud/hosting economics, and SaaS metrics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Service Management to guide strategy and investment decisions.
• Own the Product & Engineering budget, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Connect service delivery costs to service revenue and report margins.
• Develop contribution margin reporting by line of business.
• Create business cases and ROI analyses for new product initiatives and capacity investments.
• Collaborate on R&D capitalization and cost allocation with engineering leadership.
• Analyze unit economics and gross margin drivers and propose profitability actions.
• Contribute to AOP and long-range planning with inputs and scenarios.
• Prepare materials for executive and board reporting translating cost performance into narratives.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality.
