Job summary

NerdWallet is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with growth verticals, lead forecasting, modeling, and KPI analysis, and translate data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy and drive efficient resource allocation. This remote US-based role reports to Staff, Finance and offers strong growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative field.
4–6 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical finance roles.
Advanced financial modeling and forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary finance partner for growth verticals and support strategic planning.
Own the financial forecast for assigned areas, including revenue and OpEx.
Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning and new initiatives.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial packages with variance analyses and summaries.
Monitor KPIs and identify risks/opportunities to improve performance.
Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations to assess financial impact of initiatives.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and resource allocation.
Explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Improve forecasting methodologies and reporting tools.
