Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across the Product, Technology & Analytics organization. You will build scalable financial models, deliver executive‑level insights, and partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering to shape investment decisions in a fast‑moving data‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical discipline.
5–8 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or a related analytical role; experience supporting executive, product, and technology leadership is preferred.
SaaS/technology or private equity environment experience is preferred.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead financial planning processes and translate data into executive recommendations.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, Tableau, or Power BI is valued.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance management across the Product, Technology & Analytics organization.
Create and enhance financial models, KPI dashboards, and planning frameworks for executive visibility.
Utilize BI tools and SQL to produce scalable reporting on technology and product spend and drivers.
Develop insights and recommendations for leaders on budget performance, forecast risks, and investment trade‑offs.
Lead monthly and quarterly executive and board materials translating data into clear narratives.
Drive cross‑functional planning with product managers, data scientists, and engineers.
Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, including AI/data automation.
Lead ad hoc analyses and special FP&A projects for leadership.
