Data Analysis Inc. is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for its Capital Markets Group in New York. You will serve as the finance business partner to senior leaders, guiding month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting with rigor and speed.

The role demands strong Excel, Power BI, Planful, and ERP experience, plus the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Hybrid work in NYC with frequent collaboration across teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a finance business partner role.
• Strong technical understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business performance management.
• Prior exposure to capital markets, financial services, and/or data services.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with an enterprise ERP platform, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Experience working with reporting, BI, or planning tools such as Power BI, Planful, or comparable systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution across Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and other functions.

Aufgaben

• Own FP&A for select business units, including variance analysis for month-end close, budgets, forecasts, and management reporting.
• Serve as the single point of contact for business-unit leadership on finance-related matters, resolving issues within scope and driving resolution otherwise.
• Respond quickly to requests, prioritizing urgent needs alongside core FP&A deadlines.
• Partner with business-unit leaders and finance to translate performance into insight, decisions, and action.
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models for planning, scenarios, investment decisions, and executive requests.
• Prepare variance commentary linking results to drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Support month-end close with Accounting, including accruals, journal entries, intercompany reconciliation, and account analysis.
• Contribute to board reporting packages with accuracy, clarity, and narrative discipline.
• Manage multiple priorities and triage what matters most under time pressure.
• Source answers and drive issues forward in ambiguity.
