Job summary

MATTR is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to drive forecasting, budgeting, and insightful financial analysis across the organization. You will report to the VP, FP&A and partner with CFO and senior leaders to transform complex data into clear recommendations.

This high-visibility role focuses on improving planning systems, enhancing reporting capabilities, and delivering executive-ready materials. Hybrid work with collaboration across global teams is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience, including consolidated forecasting and budgeting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and financial planning systems (EPM platforms).
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to executives and business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet critical deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to build credibility and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate forecasting and budgeting across business groups and corporate functions.
• Coordinate financial inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure accurate consolidation of results.
• Perform detailed analysis of revenue, margin, SG&A, working capital, and debt covenant performance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations for executive leadership.
• Support MD&A activities through accurate financial reconciliations and reporting.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, decision-ready insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with leaders to deliver scenario analyses, profitability assessments, and ROI evaluations.
• Build trusted relationships and influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
• Support ongoing enhancement of FP&A tools and reporting capabilities (OneStream, DataFlows).
• Streamline planning and reporting processes, improving forecasting accuracy and self-service analytics.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and analytics.
