Job summary

AXIS Capital invites applications for a Senior Finance Business Partner to partner with senior leadership in Corporate FP&A. The role focuses on expense management, forecasting, scenario planning and governance, shaping strategic financial options and actionable guidance for executives.

You will lead Anaplan workforce models, drive long-range planning, and leverage AI-enabled workflows to improve forecast quality and efficiency. Hybrid office-based role in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; qualified accountant or equivalent finance qualification preferred (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CFA).
• 7+ years of FP&A, commercial finance or related partner role.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and ExCo-level stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge of expense management and accounting (cost classification, accruals, prepayments, allocations, FX).
• Advanced modelling and scenario-forecasting skills; experience with Anaplan or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group expense management and reporting for senior leaders.
• Build trusted relationships with ExCo, CFO and senior function leaders.
• Translate strategic priorities into financial options and actions.
• Turn variance analysis and forecasts into clear commentary for decisions.
• Provide expertise on expense accounting and governance across planning processes.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting with automated solutions.
