Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate, Finance & Strategy for New Verticals FP&A. Based in Chicago, IL, you will own the monthly close, weekly reporting, and cross‑functional planning, partnering with Accounting and Data Engineering to keep financial data accurate and timely.

You will build and maintain financial models, explore automation and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, and grow with the team as the business expands. You will report to a Manager on the New Verticals Finance team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical finance role.
• Experience owning recurring reporting/close processes.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets with complex financial models.
• Experience writing SQL or using AI tools to validate data.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close and weekly reporting for New Verticals.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools.
• Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to fix discrepancies.
• Help modernize reporting with AI-powered tools and automation.
• Grow with the team and take on more scope over time.
