Job summary

Dechert seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager to lead complex modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis in a hands-on role. You will translate financial data into actionable insights and prepare executive-level materials for leadership.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and Data Analytics and collaborates with FP&A, BI, and broader Finance teams to support planning, reporting, and strategic analysis. On-site with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IS, or STEM required; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of FP&A experience in a professional services environment.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; ability to explain complex models.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills; translate analysis into decisions.
• Experience with large data sets; familiarity with BI/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.
• Develop revenue forecasts using history, activity, staffing, and drivers.
• Analyze profitability, costs, and cash flow; support pricing and rate analyses.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations for leadership.
• Collaborate with BI and finance teams to leverage data sources and dashboards.
• Support annual budget, forecasts, and long-range planning; communicate findings clearly.
