Job summary

Littlesprouts is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to strengthen the company’s financial planning across multiple centers, own monthly P&L, drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development that guides the business.

You will lead a team, partner with the CFO and operations, and implement MS Dynamics 365 and BI tools to ensure accurate, timely reporting and data-driven decisions with a forward-looking perspective.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Forecasting: Deliver accurate, timely financial performance data, lead annual budgeting, consolidate plans, align forecasts with strategic goals, build bottom‑up budgets, and run rolling forecasts.
• Performance Management: Analyze financial results and KPIs, identify gaps, support monthly and quarterly reviews, build center models for enrollment, pricing, and capacity by classroom/age group, partner with ops on underperforming centers.
• Labor & Ratio Management: Model teacher-to-child ratios and forecast labor using staffing grids and wage inflation.
• Center-Level P&L Ownership: Own monthly P&Ls at site level and drive visibility into contribution margin and cost structure.
• Cash, Treasury & Liquidity: Own cash flow forecasting and treasury partnerships, optimize banking relationships and capital structure.
• Systems, Processes & Automation: Strengthen integration of Microsoft D365, Procare, payroll platforms; identify automation opportunities; document SOPs.
• Management Reporting: Develop KPIs and dashboards; standardize reporting; translate results into actionable insights for executives and the COMEX.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with business units and regional controllers; guide on cost control and growth initiatives.
• Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop team members; hiring, evaluation, and succession planning; foster accuracy and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement Tracking: Enhance forecasting accuracy and profitability analysis; maintain BI systems.
