Job summary

Havtec, based in Columbia, MD, is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A function, budget planning, and financial data management. The role reports to the CFO and drives cross-functional collaboration to support strategic business decisions.

The Senior Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and performance analysis, including financial reporting, modeling, and data governance. Experience with Power BI and Dynamics 365 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years FP&A or related experience; strong Excel skills; independent, structured; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and manages the company-wide annual budget and forecasting process.
• Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting with variance analyses.
• Creates financial models and scenarios for business planning.
• Performs data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
• Develops scalable management reporting and dashboards using Power BI and other tools.
• Leads FP&A team and mentors staff.
