Job summary

Lumen, the trusted network for AI-powered connectivity, is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to drive financial planning, performance management, and decision support across the Strategy, Planning & Operations organization. You will lead a two-analyst team and own base reporting for migrations/renewals and sales forecast.

This remote-friendly role partners with revenue finance to support budgeting, variance analysis, and executive storytelling for leadership across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance, with planning, forecasting and business case evaluation.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Experience with revenue, sales, or customer analytics (renewals, churn, contract term).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Power BI, Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Reporting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis across SPO.
• Own base management reporting for migrations and renewals, highlighting revenue risk and informing renewal priorities.
• Deliver sales reporting and forecasting, including funnel analysis, pipeline coverage, and productivity metrics.
• Support Revenue Finance rhythm: monthly forecasts, annual planning, performance reviews.
• Provide financial support: budgeting, variance analysis, financial modeling, business cases.
• Translate complex financial data into executive-ready insights for decision making.
• Own and enhance FP&A processes, tools, and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop two analysts; partner with SPO and sales leadership.
