Job summary

Monomoy Advisors is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will build and maintain financial models, analyze data for trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic insights for senior leadership.

This hands-on role requires 10+ years in FP&A, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (Great Plains, NetSuite, Oracle). A background in biotech/pharma is valued and you will be a key client-facing partner for

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, preferably in Finance and/or Accounting. MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in a FP&A role.
• Strong experience and knowledge of long-range planning, budgeting and valuation.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
• Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Build and own valuation models to support acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises, and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide insights and recommendations to Sr. leadership on key business drivers / financial performance.
• Stay current on industry best practices & trends in FP&A; drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Be the day to day face of Monomoy to the clients on which you are engaged
