Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will build analytics and models to support budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, and identify key value drivers across assigned functions to guide decision-making.

The role emphasizes collaboration with finance peers, SOX control compliance, headcount forecasting, and driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• 2 years of relevant financial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and knowledge of Hyperion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the financial performance management process for assigned functions, including budgeting and monthly forecast.
• Support budget, forecast, and long-range planning with forward-looking observations.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly accounting close for expenses and accruals with SOX compliance.
• Lead projects within the Finance organization as needed.
• Support business case-based decision-making for investments and headcount planning.
