Job summary

ADARx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in San Diego, CA seeks an Associate Director/Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as it advances its pipeline toward a public-company environment.

The role combines hands-on finance leadership with building scalable models and partner collaboration across R&D, clinical, program management, accounting, human resources, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, reporting, and business partnering.
• Experience in life sciences or biotechnology is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget, forecasts, and long-range planning with coordinating processes.
• Develop integrated financial models for Opex, headcount, and cash needs.
• Partner with functions to translate plans into forecasts and provide guidance.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reporting and variance analyses.
• Monitor study spend, CRO/vendor forecasts, and align milestones with financials.
• Support capital allocation, strategic analyses, and ERP/reporting improvements.
