Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate to lead day-to-day financial reporting for our New Verticals business. You’ll own monthly close, weekly reviews, and cross-team planning, partnering with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business teams to ensure accurate, timely numbers.

In this highly detail-oriented role, you’ll build and maintain financial models, explore process improvements—including AI-powered automation—and contribute to scaling the finance function as the business grows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A or similar analytical finance role with ownership of recurring close.
• Ability to identify and resolve data and reporting discrepancies independently.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive processes to deadlines.
• Advanced modeling skills in Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and weekly reporting for New Verticals.
• Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools for the Finance team.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Data Engineering, and business teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Help modernize reporting processes and explore AI-powered automation.
• Grow scope as you build expertise in the business.
