ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the fast-paced finance team in Chicago. The role focuses on transportation initiatives, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational reporting to support profitable growth.

The SFA will collaborate with Finance and Transportation teams, enhance margin analysis, and contribute to board materials. Hybrid work in Chicago is offered with a strong emphasis on business partnerships and strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or related field.
• Experience in 3PL or Transportation FP&A is preferred.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Analyze transportation initiatives monthly and report drivers to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report on weekly performance and margins.
• Build bottoms-up forecasts with Transportation team and identify risks & opportunities.
• Develop models and processes for new transportation initiatives.
• Prepare annual operating plan and translate to financial budget.
• Create monthly/quarterly investor and board presentations with key metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in existing files and processes.
