Delta Dental of California is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to blend accounting expertise with advanced statistical analytics. This role develops Monte Carlo simulations, predictive forecasting, and scenario analysis to quantify uncertainty and drive enterprise decision-making.

You will partner with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Accounting to quantify drivers of product-level performance, produce regular reporting, and mentor junior staff in a dynamic, hybrid environment in Oakland, CA.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP and planning apps (Oracle/Hyperion, SAP, IBM Cognos).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting and forecasting with business owners.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reporting and variance analysis.
• Perform high-impact analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain complex analytical models.
