Delta Dental of California seeks a Senior Financial Analyst - Business Cases to evaluate strategic investments and growth opportunities across the enterprise. You will build robust financial models, perform ROI/NPV/IRR analyses, and guide leadership with data-driven recommendations.

You will partner with business owners on budgeting/planning, report monthly performance, and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements in a hybrid Oakland/Rancho Cordova context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate strategic investments, business cases, mergers and acquisitions.
• Perform financial modeling, investment analysis, benchmarking, and scenario evaluation.
• Measure value realization after implementation and inform leadership for better decisions.
• Drive planning, budgeting and forecasting with business owners.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reporting and variance analysis for leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-impact analyses to support decisions.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models and scenarios.
• Identify opportunities and lead process improvements for efficiency.
