Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support forecasting and business planning. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Financial Planning, you will analyze Par Pacific and its subsidiaries and contribute to M&A and growth opportunities.

Based at the headquarters in Houston, Texas, you will organize monthly forecasts, maintain forecasting models, and prepare presentations for executives and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in a financial modeling environment such as banking, corporate finance, consulting or the Big 4.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of fundamental finance and accounting concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player, flexible, and willing to pitch in within a small team.
• Professionalism and comfort presenting to executive leadership.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and facilitating monthly forecasting and annual budget processes.
• Maintain and publish financial forecasting models for Par Pacific and its subsidiaries.
• Analyze and communicate financial results & forecasts to executives and senior management.
• Create PowerPoint presentations outlining financial results and forecasts for management, the Board of Directors, and the public market.
• Provide analytical support to business initiatives and strategic decisions, including M&A opportunities.
• Perform weekly ad hoc financial analysis for executives and senior management.
