Job summary

Planar Systems is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the Director of FP&A in maintaining the forecasting system, building dashboards, budgeting, and monthly forecasts. You will work with department heads to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization, and develop advanced financial models for strategic investments.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and improving reporting tools within a fast-paced, high-tech environment in Hillsboro, OR.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree in Finance is required.
• 5+ years of related work experience as a financial, strategic, or planning analyst.
• Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency required.
• Advanced working knowledge of Planful, Prophix, Hyperion, or equivalent forecasting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain FP&A forecasting system (Planful) and support development of dashboards, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasts/reports.
• Collaborate with Director of FP&A and department heads to identify growth, cost savings, and resource optimization opportunities.
• Provide analysis to support management decisions on diverse corporate initiatives and investments.
• Develop advanced financial models to support business planning and strategic investments.
• Participate on cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis for decision making.
• Coordinate with IT to upgrade/reporting tools and processes.
• Maintain accounting controls by recommending policies and procedures.
• Data mining in financial/operational data to enhance reporting tools and KPIs.
