Job summary

AGC Biologics, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to partner with leadership, transform financial data into insights, and influence strategic initiatives. You’ll forecast, plan, and report finance results while guiding capital investments and cost controls.

You will develop financial models, report to senior leaders and the Board, and drive performance with cross‑functional teams across manufacturing and operations in a global context.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting with an MBA strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a finance analytical role, preferably in life sciences.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
• Expertise in IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
• Demonstrated experience automating budgeting/forecasting processes using Excel (Power Query/VBA), Power BI, or EPM systems (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar).
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting, breakeven/CVP analysis, or plant‑level financial analysis is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software.
• Ability to present financial information to non‑financial teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning for global initiatives.
• Develop detailed, accurate budgets/forecasts with leadership teams.
• Lead automation of budgeting/forecasting processes using Excel and reporting tools.
• Provide financial analysis for capital investments and ROI.
• Maintain break‑even and cost‑per‑batch analyses to aid capacity planning.
• Evaluate financial statements and advise on profitability drivers.
• Report client/project profitability with operations and PM teams.
