Job summary

Finalsite is a leading EdTech company enabling K–12 schools to build trust and grow enrollment. We hire a highly analytical Sr. Financial Analyst on an independent contractor basis to support executive dashboards, board reporting, and data-driven decision making in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You will collaborate with Finance, Revenue, Operations, Sales, and PE partners, leveraging AI tools to modernize financial operations and provide visibility into performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2–4+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting in BI tools.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics.
• Experience leveraging AI tools in a business environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior leaders.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning; analyze revenue, bookings, ARR, churn, margins; drive AI-enabled planning; variance analysis and reporting.
• Private Equity & Executive Reporting: Prepare recurring reporting packages for leadership and investors; support growth metrics and liquidity analysis; drive process improvements.
• Reporting & Data Analytics: Use AI tools to surface trends; improve reporting automation; support SaaS metrics and KPI reporting; create executive summaries.
• Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and HR on performance reporting; ROI analysis; pricing and headcount planning; ad hoc analyses.
