Job summary

Upshop is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to strengthen a fast-moving Finance function. You will build driver-based models, analyze SaaS metrics, and deliver executive-ready insights. Collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and G&A, owning analyses end-to-end while introducing AI-enabled workflows for faster, more accurate reporting.

You will present to Finance leadership and help drive annual plans, forecasts, and data-driven decisions in a growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4–6 years in FP&A or analytical finance roles.
• Ability to build driver-based financial models from source data.
• Knowledge of SaaS metrics: ARR, churn, retention, gross margin, CAC.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis or reporting.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas and data modeling.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly FP&A cycle: reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Build driver-based models for ARR, revenue, headcount, opex, EBITDA, and cash flow.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses on growth, productivity, hiring, and spend.
• Analyze SaaS metrics (ARR, bookings, churn, retention, expansion, gross margin, CAC).
• Partner with leaders to validate assumptions and track performance against plan.
• Support annual plan, monthly reforecasts, and ad hoc business cases.
• Create concise, executive-ready dashboards and memos for leadership and Board.
