Job summary

Shake Shack Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Senior Development Analyst to act as the FP&A partner to the Development organization. You will own underwriting for new Shack growth, renewals, and post-investment performance, connecting deal assumptions to enterprise plans and delivering decision-ready recommendations to leadership.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial judgment, advanced modeling, and effective cross-functional collaboration to support enterprise growth and strategic capital

Qualifications

• : At least 4 years’ experience in real estate finance or analytical roles.
• : Experience working in retail and/or restaurant development preferred.
• : Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
• : Ability to translate real estate economics into clear financial implications.
• : Clear written and verbal communication for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• : Own financial modeling and underwriting for new Shack decisions, including P&L, net investment, lease economics, cash flows, and investment returns.
• : Lead analysis for remodels, renewals, reinvestments, and closures by evaluating future cash flows, capital, lease economics, and returns.
• : Develop models and scenario analyses for complex real estate transactions (relocations, expansions, restructurings).
• : Gather Shack-level intel from internal/external sources and manage access for partners.
• : Own Development CapEx budgeting and forecasting.
• : Partner with Real Estate, Construction, Design, Accounting, Operations, BI, and FP&A to validate assumptions.
• : Lead post-open financial performance evaluation from grand-opening to steady-state and derive insights.
• : Produce recurring reporting and executive materials on investment returns, occupancy metrics, lease decisions, and rent exposure.
• : Prepare financial materials for Real Estate Committee; support asset management duties.
