Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a Senior Development Analyst to partner with Development and Finance to model and underwrite new Shack growth. You will connect deal assumptions to enterprise plans, delivering decision-ready recommendations to executives.

The role requires strong financial judgment, advanced modeling, and the ability to explain investment tradeoffs clearly while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Real Estate, Construction, Design, Accounting, Operations, and FP&A.

Qualifications

Experience in real estate finance or development analytics preferred.
Strong financial acumen and ability to simplify complex investment tradeoffs.
Proven track record of cross-functional partnership and presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Own financial modeling and underwriting for new Shack decisions, including projected P&L, investment returns, and lease economics.
Lead analysis for remodels, renewals, reinvestments, and closures with cash flow and capital considerations.
Develop scenarios for complex real estate transactions and nonstandard deals.
Gather and synthesize internal and external Shack-level data for decision making.
Own the Development CapEx budgeting and forecasting.
