Job summary

Motive is seeking a Lead FP&A Analyst to join the GTM Finance team. You will translate performance into insights, support disciplined planning, and help leaders optimize growth and efficiency. The role collaborates across GTM functions and interfaces with senior leadership to influence planning and measurement.

You will own forecasting cycles, develop financial models, and deliver executive-ready analyses. A strong analytical mindset and AI-enabled process improvements are valued as you drive

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A, finance, or related analytical experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills with Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
• Ability to connect financial results to operational drivers and influence decisions.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and challenging assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting for assigned GTM functions.
• Lead budget-versus-actuals analysis and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Build financial models covering headcount, OPEX, and GTM investments.
• Develop annual plans, quarterly outlooks, and scenario analyses with leaders.
• Prepare executive-ready reports for reviews, meetings, and board requests.
• Reconcile data across systems and improve data quality and control.
• Support headcount planning, capacity modeling, and workforce investments.
• Create dashboards and automate reporting to improve insights.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Data, Revenue Ops, and HR to align assumptions.
