Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead technical design and critique of identity platforms in client environments. You will set direction, review code, and prototype architectures rather than day-to-day coding on most engagements. Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on technical work in the last 24 months across prototyping, design reviews, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for engagements and be accountable for decisions.
• Review implementations and prototype in the agentic identity stack when needed.
• Set technical direction and review code on engagements.
• Reverse-engineer identity behavior in client environments and design improvements.
• Make build-versus-buy decisions and document rationale for long-term maintenance.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas.
• Build reference implementations and technical content for the practice.
• Grow engineers through hands-on collaboration and mentorship.
