Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to provide technical leadership on agentic identity platforms. You will read, review, and make design calls based on real system behavior rather than deck descriptions. You will collaborate with client engineers, set direction, and determine what to build vs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on work within the last 24 months counting development, prototyping, code review, or design review.
• 4+ years of professional development in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• 4+ years designing and building concurrent or distributed systems that ran in production.
• 3+ years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years of technical leadership of at least 2 engineers, including code review and design review responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) OR (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for an engagement and defend decisions when challenged.
• Stay closely connected to the identity stack and prototype when needed.
• Set technical direction for engineers and review their code.
• Reverse-engineer identity in client environments and design appropriate solutions.
• Make build-versus-buy decisions and document rationale for longevity of project.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas, often before documentation exists.
• Build reference implementations and technical content that define practice.
• Grow engineers around you by hands-on collaboration.
