Job summary

Accenture Security seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Agentic Identity Platform. This senior technical leadership role reads, reviews, and makes design calls in a client environment; day-to-day coding is not required.

You own technical design decisions, set direction for engineers on engagements, review code, and prototype when needed. Travel may be required; you will work with enterprise clients to balance build versus buy and implement robust identity solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• 2+ years of leadership of at least 2 engineers with code/design review.
• 4+ years of development in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, TS, Java, or C++.
• 4+ years designing/contributing to distributed systems that run in production.
• 3+ years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with containers and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for engagements and defend decisions.
• Review implementation in the agentic identity stack and prototype as needed.
• Set the technical direction for engineers on the engagement and review code.
• Reverse-engineer identity behavior in client environments and design solutions.
• Make build-versus-buy decisions and document rationale for long-term stability.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas; develop reference implementations.
• Grow and mentor engineers by working alongside them.
