Databricks in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to work with federal government customers to build production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.

You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development. This hands-on, customer-facing role thrives at the intersection of technology and business impact.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering.
• Fluent in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Two+ cloud experiences (AWS/Azure/GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
• CI/CD for production deployments; knowledge of MLOps and AI models.
• Experience delivering to enterprise clients and managing stakeholder conflicts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and design decisions for production data/AI solutions.
• Deliver end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI models, and apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Embed with customer teams to ensure value and adoption.
• Create reusable accelerators and best practices that scale across accounts.
