Databricks Inc. is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with federal government customers, delivering production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

You will work cross-functionally, travel 20–25% to client sites, and ensure scalable, secure deployments with strong customer empathy and measurable impact.

Formación

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of two or more Cloud ecosystems (AWS,Azure,GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and MLOps.
• Experience delivering technical projects for enterprise clients.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production solution delivery with reference architectures and data/ML integrations.
• Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design and deployment.
• Own architecture decisions to ensure security and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams for delivery.
