Job summary

Frontdesk is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to take ownership of enterprise deployments in New York City, working in-person with customers to design and implement live integrations and workflows. You will travel to customer sites, understand their operations, and ship solutions that become reusable products for future deployments.

You will collaborate across voice, SMS, email, chat, APIs, data, LLMs, and orchestration, building a scalable platform while driving the next wave of Frontdesk

Responsibilities

• Own our largest and most technically difficult deployments.
• Work directly with customers to understand how their businesses operate.
• Build integrations, workflows, internal tooling, and product capabilities to get them live.
• Travel onsite when being in the room helps solve the problem faster.
• Work across voice, SMS, email, chat, APIs, data, LLMs, and workflow orchestration.
• Debug deployments and address blockers, even if the problem sits outside Frontdesk.
• Identify patterns across customers and turning one-off solutions into scalable product.
• Collaborate with founders and engineering on what Frontdesk should build next.
