Job summary

The Better Money Company in New York, NY is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who will own the full integration lifecycle with customers and partners, from scoping and technical design through implementation and go-live.

You’ll translate customer needs into actionable product input, build shared tooling and documentation, and be the first responder for production issues across boundaries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping integrations with payment systems, financial infrastructure, and/or banking partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the full integration lifecycle with customers and partners — from scoping and technical design through implementation, testing, and go-live.
• Be the connective tissue between our customers and our product. Digest, triage, and scope customer needs into actionable product input.
• Design and build shared tooling, SDKs, and documentation that make integrating with us fast and painless.
• Debug production issues across system boundaries — when something breaks between us and a partner, you're the first responder.
