Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Product Forward Deployed Engineer to drive GTM and delivery for Signals, a premier Converge for FSI product. You’ll blend client-facing sales with hands-on delivery oversight, shaping opportunities and guiding PoCs to client outcomes in the financial services arena.

You will define commercialization models, enable licensing, and collaborate with Market Makers and Product Managers to scale offerings. Strong executive presence and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Data Science or equivalent field; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of client-facing management or technology consulting/professional services experience, including leading delivery of tech-enabled engagements.
• 2+ years of experience within, or delivering consulting/tech engagements to, the financial services industry.
• Experience working with engineering, data science, or technical delivery teams to scope, sequence, and troubleshoot data/tech implementations without requiring hands-on coding.
• Experience contributing to sales and business development activities (e.g., client pitches, proposals, demos).
• Ability to travel 20-40%, on average, based on clients and industries served.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sale: Build and maintain relationships with market makers, buyer decision-makers, and Deloitte account teams to identify and shape product opportunities.
• Pre-Sale: Prepare and deliver pitches and product demos to client executives (including C-suite).
• Pre-Sale: Develop go-to-market materials — pitch decks, demo scripts, case studies — for reuse across engagements.
• Pre-Sale: Partner with Market Makers and Product Managers to scope, price, and staff delivery engagements.
• Pre-Sale: Enable commercialization of products and advise Market Makers on taking products to market.
• Post-Sale: Lead delivery of scoped proofs of concept and in-market testing with engineering and data science teams.
• Post-Sale: Serve as client’s primary post-sale contact, managing scope, timeline, and outcomes.
• Post-Sale: Translate client requirements to Product Managers to inform feature backlog.
• Post-Sale: Build and scale reusable delivery assets, demo patterns, and playbooks to accelerate cycles.
• Post-Sale: Provide continuous feedback loop between clients and product team and support knowledge transfer.
• Post-Sale: Operate within engagement guardrails to protect capacity and ensure clean handoffs.
