Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking an autonomous Forward Deployed AI Engineer to lead enterprise deployments of our Agentic AI platform. You will architect, implement, and productionize AI agent solutions while guiding customer engineering teams and driving successful outcomes.

You will combine senior software engineering with technical project leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration to shape a future-proof CX automation platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years in software or solution engineering with AI/ML focus.
• Experience leading complex deployments for enterprise customers.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Python, Typescript with secure, scalable production code.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Leadership & Architecture: lead deployments and design AI agent solutions.
• Hands-on engineering: write production-grade code using Talkdesk APIs/SDKs.
• Provide technical guidance to customer executives and engineers.
• Influence product roadmap with deployment learnings.
• Mentor junior engineers on AI architecture and delivery.
