Job summary

Talkdesk, Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to translate Talkdesk's Agentic AI platform into production-grade, enterprise solutions for strategic customers.

As a technical project lead you own deployments, drive architecture, and mentor teams while collaborating with customer engineers and executives.

You will leverage APIs/SDKs, ensure security and scale, and influence product direction based on deployment learnings.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in software or solution engineering with AI/ML deployment experience.
• Experience leading large IT integration or AI implementation projects.
• Proven AI system architecture experience with multi-agent systems.
• Strong API, webhook, and message queue design for secure data flows.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and model optimization.
• Ability to influence executives and align cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture for AI agent deployments.
• Write production-grade code and integrate Talkdesk APIs/SDKs.
• Serve as trusted technical expert for customers.
• Synthesize deployment learnings into reusable patterns.
• Mentor junior FDEs and specialists.
