Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced insurance claims professional to quantify complex claims in a collaborative environment with forensic accountants, valuation professionals, attorneys and risk managers. The role involves working on claims arising from hurricanes, cyber incidents, and other events, with travel to client sites and in-person client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• 2+ years at an accounting or consulting firm in forensic accounting or dispute & damages.
• Pursuit or attainment of CPA, CFE or CFF is desirable.
• Strong organization and time management to handle multiple engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when needed.
• Reliable transportation to EY offices and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, preparation, and management of complex commercial insurance claims.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Gather and evaluate claim-related information and develop well-supported submissions.
• Travel to client sites and maintain in-office presence as required.
