Job summary

EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice specializes in helping clients achieve their financial recovery goals following disaster events such as hurricanes, fires, tornadoes, cyber incidents, and other catastrophic losses. We are seeking an experienced insurance claims professional to join our practice.

You will work alongside forensic accountants, valuation professionals, attorneys, risk managers, brokers, and insurers to quantify complex insurance claims and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 2+ years in forensic accounting or dispute & damages at an accounting or consulting firm.
• CPA/CFE/CFF designation pursued or achieved.
• Strong organization and time management with multiple engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel and work longer hours when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation to EY offices and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, preparation, and management of complex commercial insurance claims.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Gather and evaluate information, assess financial impacts, and develop claim submissions.
• Travel and presence at client sites, plus in-office work.
